I was surprised at how great it was at painting my walls. I had tried holding up color cards but seeing the paints actually on the wall made it much easier. Not a very imaginative person I guess.

Great application for those planning to redecorate their homes! Highly recommend before going to the store!

App works great and includes name brand paints and their colors allowing time to plan at home rather than standing around at a Home Depot trying to picture my house interior.

Tried to use this app after getting Behr paint samples today but none of the colors showed up when searched for. Great idea but not as helpful if it lacks the paint colors. It would also be great to have some hints on how to use since it is not the most user friendly.

Horrible, wish I could get a refund!!

My boyfriend and I are redesigning his house and have purchased so many paint samples, it was adding up quite a bit. This app solves that and it even gives you the exact color name and code so you dont even have to search for it in the store. Pretty awesome. Definitely worth the 99 cents.

Great concept for this app, but it lacks editing tools. Low lighting images makes it hard to isolate different areas in the photo, or distinguish between walls. Color fills flood multiple walls and ceiling due to lack of tolerance adjustment or selection tools.

If youre ready to repaint a room (or more ;), this app is your new best friend. Ive played around with others (Behr and Valspar), and while Behrs app has some sample rooms, this one lets you take a picture of YOUR room, with YOUR stuff in YOUR lighting, then play around with the entire color palette from any major brand you choose and see exactly what it will look like in your room. There are a few things that might make it easier to choose between colors (the favorites works okay, but wasnt obvious enough for us to notice it), and landscape mode (or better yet, the ability to take a panoramic shot) are two ideas that would improve usability, but all in all, Id still give it 5 stars. My wife and I narrowed down to the color we liked best for our kitchen, then took pictures of every wall and view we could to see how it would look against cabinets, backsplash, appliances, pictures, and the paint color of the ceiling and adjoining walls of other rooms. Best of all, (and this is most critical in the end) when we got the paint on one wall, I put the app against the wall, and the color match was exact (or close enough that we couldnt tell the difference). So I can now confidently say that if it looks good on your iPad, it will look good on the wall. Great tool for painters and designers!

I used to love this app. I used it a lot remodeling our house. Then I updated it, and all it does is crash and close immediately after opening.

This app is quite a disappointment, for starters when you ask for a specific color (by name or code) it doesnt show. The colors show very different when you place on your pictures. I bought the "pro" and the only difference from the free one is that it has more options available that dont work either. There is no instructions and I do not recommend it.

I chose this app for its wide range of vendors it claims. Truth is it seems to show a bias in vendors. Also, when typing in a color by name while at the store it cant seem to find a color thats years old. Colors it does find in its database show Denver hues off from the actual swatch. What got this app a 1 star rather than a 2 star was that when I tried to email them about the issues the email address was kicked back as nonexistent- classy. The most basic part of the app and even that is a failure.
